Aussie-moneyGRANTS are NOW OPEN

Applications for the programs close:  Monday 11 April 2016

We all know how expensive first aid and training can be.  For some sporting and recreation clubs to raise the money to train and outfit their volunteers can be prohibitive. I am regularly questioned about how they can get some funding to assist with the setting up and management of their first aid.The Office for Recreation and Sport has two grants that come out regularly that many sporting and active recreation clubs can apply for.  The two grants that are Now Open are the Active Club Program (ACP) and the Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program (CRSFP).  The Sports Vouchers is another way to increase participation in activity for primary school children, see below.

Active Club Program (ACP):

This grant is available to help active recreation and sports clubs with:

  • Program and equipment (up to $5,000)
  • Facility upgrade requests up to $25,000 on a $1 for $1 basis.

Sports Vouchers

The Sports Vouchers program is a Government of South Australia initiative administered by the Office for Recreation and Sport. The program provides an opportunity for primary school aged children from Reception to Year 7 to receive up to a $50 discount on sports membership/registration fees. The purpose is to increase the number of children playing organised sport by reducing cost as a barrier to participate in sport.
